Helsinki University, a separate Department of Information Technology Centre has 220 double specialist unit that provides centralized IT services yliopistolaisille.

Service users is more than 50, 000, and the University of the backbone network is connected to more than 20 000 devices. Services are provided at all campuses of the University: in the center, Kumpula, Meilahti and Viikki.

Computer center user support unit searches the center of campus, the two team leaders (IT-expert task) 1.8.2013 or by appointment. We offer a challenging managerial and specialist task of Finland’s largest university Information Technology Center.

Tasks placed in data-processing center customer support service center campus, local support groups. In both groups, there will be leader of the group in addition to about 10 people, and each group is responsible for separately about 3 000 University staff and students can use the client information technology support and maintenance services.

Information Technology Specialist acts as the supervisor of local support group also organizes group tasks and to keep in touch with your customers. Supervisory positions it takes an average of two days a week, the rest of the working time spent on information technology related support and expertise to perform the duties as well as customer support services unit and procedures.

Tasks may also include a broader customer responsibilities. Tasks may be determined that the person has knowledge and experience.

Position requires excellent customer service and teamwork skills, and experience and knowledge management tasks. Job successful management requires an appropriate university degree and experience in Windows, Linux and Mac OS X desktop support and maintenance tasks.

The University of knowledge of the environment and the Altiris Client Management Suite system management is considered an asset. Task requires a good knowledge of Finnish, in addition to good practical skills in English. We also appreciate the Swedish language.

The salary will be based on the university salary other than teaching and research personnel cage level 9-10. In addition, employees receive performance-based salary.

The total compensation is set 3 200-4 100 euros per month.
