Job Description

Position of an English teacher IWG Instituutti is looking for an English teacher in Tampere area for the terms 2013-2014. The lessons will be held at the customer’s premises or at IWG Instituutti. Salary on agreement. We provide relaxed, flexible and inspiring working environment.

The amount of lessons will be 2-10 lessons per week. This job would also be suitable for a person who teaches as a free-lancer to other customers. Requirements: – 3 years experience in teaching General and Business English to adults – Able to teach Engineering English for Occupational Purposes – TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification – MA English/Linguistics/ESOL will be looked upon particularly favourably – Customer oriented, flexible and humorous – Cultural sensitivity Main duties and responsibilities – Prepare and deliver lessons – Mark and comment on homework and class work – Keep register and work record and write reports for each class – Grade students according to EU Framework – Be prepared to write references for past students.
