Structured Finance (SF) is part of Nokia Treasury which is a centralized function in CFO office responsible for all cash management, financial risk management, financing and balance sheet management, and insurance.
SF is a global organization responsible of providing financial, and credit risk management expertise and services in the fields of structured finance, trade finance, and credit and business analysis to support Nokia sales and procurement. Structured Finance is looking for a talented professional to join our team as an Analyst. The person will be based in Espoo, Finland. The main responsibility will be to complete financial analysis of Nokia’s customers. The analyst is in charge of the analysis of larger credit risk cases while he/she is supporting colleagues assessing the smaller cases. Structured Finance Analyst is responsible for the credit analysis process, tools and training in Nokia.
The Analyst is also performing deep dives into the financials of strategic suppliers to Nokia to help Nokia Sourcing in their vendor selection & risk assessment. In order to source the information needed for a comprehensive company analysis, discussions are held with the management of the companies. Credit information, information services and databases are used to complete the picture. Based upon the conclusions, Analyst will give risk ratings to customers and suppliers, presenting his/her findings and the rationale to Account Managers, Sales Directors and Controllers. Qualifications: A Master’s degree in Finance/Economics, an MBA or the equivalent. An excellent understanding of financial analysis, together with knowledge of the associated accounting standards and rules, such as IAS and US GAA Preferably two years’ work experience from a bank, or other finance institution on financial, or business analysis. Good selection of IT skills Financial modelling skills appreciated Fluent in both written and spoken English. Analytical, active in seeking and sharing information.
