Finland Ranks Second in Human Capital Index
Finland has recently been ranked second in the global Human Capital Index organised by the World Economic Forum which covered 122 countries.
Switzerland has been ranked first in this year’s human capital index. Below is the entire top 10 ranking:

3. Singapore
4. The Netherlands
5. Sweden
6. Germany
7. Norway
8. UK
9. Denmark
10. Canada
Finland has been ranked so highly this year due to its exemplary education system and enabling of environment scores.
The report assesses countries on their ability to efficiently deploy healthy and educated people through four essential pillars: health & well-being, education, employment and enabling of environment. For the first two pillars Finland ranks at the top while for the latter two the country ranks on the nineth, and third position respectively.
The general strength of the Scandinavian countries lies in the fact that they are very strong on the workforce and employment pillars.
