Java Developer/ Designer

Job Description:

We are looking for experienced Java/C++ Developers in our customer’s fixed-term projects that begin in the spring 2012. If you’re an expert in object-oriented programming, apply this position as soon as possible.

Java/C++ Developer (HELSINKI)

General requirements:

• Knowledge of different development methods regarding the project work

• Good communication and presentation skills

• Very Good English skills

• Suitable educational background, e.g. B.Sc. or M.Sc.

Technical requirements:

• Min. 3-4 year’s of professional experience as a Programmer /Designer

• Practical knowledge of various programming tools

• Object- oriented programming experience in Java and C++

• Strong Java or C++ skills

Rents rose by 1.7 per cent in the year
Corrected on 6 August 2010 at 9.30. The correction is indicated in red. Was previously 3.4. During the first quarter of 2010, the year-on-year increase in rents was 1.7 per cent. The rents of non-subsidised rental dwellings went up by an average of 1.2 per cent in the whole country. In the Greater Helsinki Area the rents of non-subsidised rental dwellings went up by 2.1 per cent and in the rest of Finland by 0.8 per cent. The rents of government subsidised dwellings rose by 2.5 per cent in the whole country.Compared to the previous quarter, the rents of non-subsidised dwellings decreased by an average of 1.5 per cent. Instead, the rents of government subsidised dwellings rose by 0.6 per cent.
Prices of old dwellings rose in April to June
According to Statistics Finlands preliminary data, prices of dwellings in old blocks of flats and terraced houses went up by 1.8 per cent in the whole country compared with the previous quarter. In Greater Helsinki, prices rose by 2.0 per cent and in the rest of the country by 1.5 per cent. Compared with the corresponding period of the year before, prices went up by 10.0 per cent in the whole country. In Greater Helsinki the growth amounted to 13.6 per cent and in the rest of the country to 7.0 per cent.
