Job Description

The school psychologist official Mission: City of Vaasa Education and the Office of Education invites applications for the school psychologist’s post (divacancy 5656) from 01.02.2013 or by appointment. Is in charge of basic education in English. Include, in mm. learning difficulties clearing, standard supportive therapy, short talks and consultations with teachers.

The aim is to support children and young people’s psychological well-being and their school work in partnership with teachers, special needs teachers, school social worker and the parents. The school psychologist is a member of the general student welfare and special education area.

You can participate in one of the team members, development of children and young people’s mental well-being. You will have good opportunities to participate in training and professional guidance. Standards: The candidates are required to have a licensed psychologist degree. Experience of children and young people to work with would be an advantage.

General Information: The salary KVTES-compliant.

Appointee must be presented prior to the commencement of work doctor’s statement of health (T-certificate) and the law 504/2002 in accordance with a criminal record. Invited to interview According to the originals of diplomas and work certificates. Probationary period is six months.
